Hey, Radar, this post gave me some Google juice! Hah, thanks! And, btw, that suite is fantastic.

I couldn’t resist getting one of these suites, either. My first “purchase” in Second Life was one of the original mall spaces that Gary offered. The land had almost nothing at that time, but that mall was packed.

Rich, cool! It was good to see you back in there, and it’s what really made me go from thinking about it a few times to just doing it. I was telling chug that day, I just felt weird not having a suite. Glad to be your neighbor now!

Okay - I don’t mean to bitch and whine… but your random microposts are totally SPAMMING the http://grid.iheartsl.com/ syndication blog.

So, a polite request to either stop the 50-million microposts (and just make one ‘normal’ post every hour or something) or ask to have your feed removed from that page.

look, I know - I’m just one guy bitching LOL.
And I really do mean it as polite feedback. And I know you’ll do (or not do) as you choose. But , ummm… wow. LOL

Yeah, so Ari… maybe you should look at the dates of the blog posts. I don’t micro blog. Sometimes I go a week without a post.

*clearly* (to most people), when you add a feed to the iheartsl thing, it goes and sucks down any posts it doesn’t have. And then wham. There they are. Either that, or it’s broken, and I don’t own that blog. Someone else does.

So bitch to them. And check the dates next time, maybe?

Actually, I think iheartsl is broken. It keeps dumping my stuff in, or hasn’t updated anyone else’s.

I’m not really sure what the problem is. What I am sure is that the problem lies with their feed sucker. Not me. Shrug. I’m blogging on occasion and using a standard wordpress rss feed.

So there, motherbeyatches.

Ok, I sent a complaint to the peeps at http://grid.iheartsl.com/ and let them know people are blaming me for their stuff not working.

If you people are gonna pass me a hot cup of wtfo for something i didn’t actually DO, i’m just gonna pass it right down the line. Which… you could have done to begin with.

I’m sorry, Radar. I feel absolutely horrible since I’m the one that suggested you put your blog on that feed to begin with. I don’t know why thats happening with your blog and not anyone elses.. but I feel partly responsible since I was the one that suggested it to you to begin with. I’m sorry.

hey, don’t be sorry, it’s not a big deal. you know me… i just like reasons to rant. besides, it points out a potential problem with their site. They keep grabbing some of my articles over and over again.

I’ve contacted them to fix or remove it. Hopefully they will.

What I was trying to point out was that the only way to fix a problem is address the actual problem. I’m guilty of first glance troubleshooting at times as well.

and i suppose in theory it’s possible my rss feed is borked, but i’ve tested it with a couple different aggregators and don’t see “multiple suckage” of my rss feed articles.

ok, it’s all fixed, and actually i have to thank both the site owner, GoGo, and Ari, because if he hadn’t complained, i probably would have waited forever to send a request to get it fixed.

i’ll admit, it *was* pretty annoying.
