Some blog posts get archived eventually, while others go directly there. In episode 24 of SL Under the Radar, Chug took you to Archive on Lucusolus, the art exhibit sim where you are the art and all the world’s a prop.

I wanted to wait until some of you’d had a chance to go be mangled by enjoy this exhibit before I posted incriminating pictures. Also I have some video footage of the place that we shot while there, which I will post eventually. I’m so far behind in my various project editing. I give.. you win!! Wait. You lose! I mean, if you’re waiting on ME for something…

You start off outside, looking at the hyperactive bilge pump that keeps sucking spare prims out of the sea and dumping them on land, to bounce around until they wind up in the sea again. Very cyclic.

I hope that cow’s got some good water filters installed. Cause I know where it’s gonna be going…

We sat on a crate and waited to see if we’d get knocked into the water.

I was toodling along on the Terra Z Scooter around tiny house minding my own business, just checking out the sky and the waves…

And then I saw the car… freaking kids!!??!! I need to figure out who they are, and call their parents. Either that, or this latest windlight and some sculpties are NOT getting along very well.

I discovered a couple things tonight. One, there’s a new Windlight Viewer out. Two, Podcast Island is thawing out. The skating rink? Gone. Sorry. But.. not really… just look at the reflections on that water. And oh, yeah. There’s still some ice in the NE corner for the polar bear to take solace in.. for now.

Looks like some friends of Maximillion Kleene were having fun at his expense tonight, and some friends of mine caught it on virtual polaroid.

I just finally got around to releasing episode 24 of SL Under the Radar, and guess what? Maximillion Kleene’s the guest. I think you’ll find him to be laid back, friendly, and with a sense of humor. I’m saying all this to convince myself he’s not gonna be too upset with me for posting this picture which the photographer themselves refused to do. He’ll LOVE it! Yeah, that’s it!

SL is like RL, people with no creativity or talent try to make money off the backs of those who do. And I don’t just mean lawyers, marketers, and Web 2.0 types either. Watch this video on Stuart Warf’s blog about the Scapoli Mall in SL. And don’t hesitate to let the vendors there know what you think.

Chug and I were standing around plotting some PI event or other when she took to jumping on the furniture. SL punished her by breaking her legs. Normally, I’m not one for needless physical suffering, but she did bring it on herself, and besides, she staged a miraculous recovery thanks to a wheelchair she found in her inventory.

I’ve seen the “stiff leg” syndrome with “beachball” freezes and of course crashes… and when someone logs off and their av sticks around for a few seconds, you can push them around all stiff-legged, but this is the first time I’ve seen it on an avatar that’s not planning on going “bye bye” intentionally or otherwise. SL just keeps coming up with new ways to prove that 1’s and 0’s can be funneled in the wrong direction with some careful planning.

I guess “SL” stands for “Stiff Leg”..

Yes, Crap, I stole the “Another…” banner idea from you. And yes, everyone, that IS severe lag I’m undergoing. The Lindens promise that Apple is helping fix their OpenGL driver issues, let’s PLEASE let that be the case.
